Chronic Cough That Won't Go Away
A cough that persists for more than 3 weeks — whether dry or productive — is your lungs telling you something is wrong. While a cold-related cough usually resolves within 2 weeks, a chronic cough could indicate asthma, COPD, lung infection, or even early-stage lung cancer. Pay attention to any cough that lingers, changes in character, or gets progressively worse over time.
